Some of the more complicated cases that I deal with are people that have multiple broken or missing teeth, and it's almost like we have to start over. Also, there are cases of sever attrition where a patient has just worn their mouth way beyond where it should be. They could be restored a number of ways. We can make dentures for patients like that. We can also do a series of crowns to help build up their bite and provide them with a new smile, the longer smile, instead of the shorter teeth that have either broken or ground down. But to restore someone's, or to completely restore a mouth, it takes a lot of time. Again, the candidates have to be in good health and they have to be patient, but when it's done, it's a lifetime change for them.
Consider The Possibilities With Dental Implant Restoration
Dental implants are a remarkable technology that have been around for nearly 50 years. With implants, you can say goodbye to slipping dentures or toothless grins. This artificial root system is made of titanium, a metal that is as compatible with your body as it is sturdy. When properly cared for, dental implants can last your entire life!
Once your gums have healed from your initial implant surgery, a sturdy dental crown can be placed on the implants. That’s where we come in. We offer a variety of implant restoration options when it comes to your new smile:
- We are happy to design and place custom-made dental crowns for each of your implants. This gives you the option of individual restorations for each tooth.
- Sometimes our patients need or prefer to have only four or six implants rather than individual ones to replace each tooth. With this option, we will design a natural-looking, natural-feeling full arch of teeth to attach to them.
- Implant-retained or implant-supported dentures attach to implants to provide a stronger, no-slip fit that will enable you to enjoy your favorite foods.
- If you already have dental implants and your crowns have suffered damage from an accident or normal wear and tear, we’ll restore them to their former beauty and function.
You’ve lived a full life, and your smile has borne the effects of it. Now it’s time to live a full life with a full smile. Call us today for your free consultation at 727-645-4727 or contact us online.
