Finding A Gentle Dental Office In St. Petersburg

Finding A Gentle Dental Office In St. Petersburg

Welcome back to the blog! We hope that you are having a great new year thus far. Don’t forget to schedule your 2016 dental appointments sooner than later. We can’t wait to see you! And, besides, your oral health is too important to put off.

If you are currently looking for a dentist in St. Petersburg, FL, we hope you will take the time to learn a little more about our office and give us the opportunity to learn more about you, too. We think you’ll like all that we have to offer.

A Welcoming Practice

It goes without saying, you want a dental team that has the training and technology on-hand to take care of your ever-changing needs. Beyond that, you surely want to be involved with a dentist’s office that has a compassionate staff, and is quick to dispel any discomfort or anxiety.

The good news is that, at Jeffery A. Spilman DDS, we’ve earned a reputation as being a cutting-edge, yet gentle dental office. Doesn’t that sound nice?

Our team is welcoming, to say the least. We are always quick to offer additional comfort options such as pillows, blankets, and headphones (with a variety of music to listen to on one of our iPads).

We can also take it further, if need be, with sedation dentistry.

Sedation Dentistry

If you are paralyzed by fear and anxiety, when it comes to dentists, we know just what to do for you. Regardless of the root cause for your dental anxiety, it is something that we will help you work through to get the dental care you deserve. You won’t want to miss out on the cleanings that keep disease and decay at bay or the exams that allow us to screen for problems, including cancer.

Please let us know if you do have some level of dental anxiety, and we will set you up with one of our sedation dentistry systems that will quickly put your fears to rest.

With nitrous oxide (laughing gas), you will almost immediately be put at ease as the nitrous oxide and oxygen mixture is inhaled. The good news is that you’ll be awake throughout and will return to a normal state of consciousness shortly after your treatment is completed.

With oral sedation, you will be conscious for your procedure, but you will be very relaxed and will likely not remember the procedure at all once it wraps up. You will also probably forget why you were ever afraid in the first place, which is nice.

Get Started Today!

No matter how long you’ve been away, there couldn’t be a better time to reclaim your health. In our office, your comfort will always be top of mind. So, you don’t have to worry about any painful or unpleasant procedures.

Seriously, we’d love to earn your trust in 2016!
